There are three things women crave: Jesus, Coffee, and Conversation! Gather around the table with women of all ages and stages who desire to have conversation that matters! We are a multi-generational group of women who meet once a month at multiple locations for dessert, Bible-Teaching, and authentic community.

Prone to Wander
Do you ever feel questions bubble up beneath the surface of your faith that make you question or doubt God? The old song says “Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave this God I love.” Prone to wander means that without anything anchoring our souls, we have a tendency to or even are likely to drift. This fall, we will look at some of the questions that cause us to become wanderers and discover the anchor that will make our faith sure.
Together, let’s unpack scripture and be transformed by it.
We have designed every gathering at Ignite Life to play a part in equipping, empowering, and mobilizing you in your faith journey with Jesus. The same curriculum will be taught at every gathering - regardless of which location you attend.

Vanessa has a heart for people to grow in intimacy with Christ. She is passionate about transforming potential into action. At the age of 24, Vanessa founded her ministry, Ignite Life, with the mission to equip, empower, and mobilize women to be the spark that ignites change in the world for the sake of Christ. Out of her desire to mobilize women in the church, one small conference gave birth to a movement of Christian women. Although this ministry is a huge priority in her life, her first ministry is her family. Vanessa has been married to her “Prince” Evan, for 12 years and her life is filled with joy and chaos raising her three children (Owen, 11; Ethan, 9; Charlotte, 6)

Robin has a passion for equipping people to see their strengths and to lead with their unique, God-given gifts. Robin has always had a strong tie to her church, community, and work. That tie is in the form of relationships. Her greatest joy is to do life together, encouraging, strengthening and challenging each other to be their very best and reach their full potential.
Robin has recently launched RS Focus Consulting, where she is able to invest in people with a unique focus on women leading non-profit ministries. Through her consulting firm, Robin is able to walk with others through one-on-one coaching with a focus on leadership and personal development, staff & board development, customized trainings and public speaking. Robin has 37+ years of non-profit leadership experience and her heart’s desire is to share what she has learned to help others reach their potential and accomplish their ministry goals.
Robin has contracted with Ignite Life to assist them with training and development. Robin says her relationship with Ignite Life is like a Reese’s peanut butter cup, the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter, two things she loves. She feels her role with Ignite Life is the perfect combination for her of her skills and her passion – she loves being able to intentionally invest in the lives of the women and Ignite Life!
Robin’s professional career includes work in the following arenas: non-profits, higher education, and the church. Some of the positions she has held were Executive Director, Program Director, Director of Retention and Student Success, Instructor, and Pastor. In each of these roles, Robin has always made it a priority to help her staff, community partners, students and clients not only see their potential, but overcome the obstacles standing in the way of them reaching their potential.
Robin and her husband, Homer, have been married since 1986 and currently reside in Henderson, NV. They attend ChurchLV and they enjoy God’s creation by hiking, walking, or simply enjoying the sun with a good book. They have two children and four grandchildren. Robin holds a master’s degree in Organizational Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, both from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

Liv Dooley
As the founder of the Colorfully Candid Paradigm and an international speaker, Liv Dooley has a gift for drawing others into the Word of God in new and refreshing ways. When others spend time with her in the Word, they walk away feeling more enlightened and impassioned about the great Savior of the universe.
Liv founded the Colorfully Candid Paradigm, a Christian organization that supports mothers, mentors, and daughters in 2014. Since then, she and the women she works with have supported the biblical growth of girls and women throughout seven different countries through the mentorship groups and events they've hosted. Their core values are as follows: we find our value in Christ Jesus; we create community among women and girls; we elevate Christ’s love through candid conversations.
As a Bible teacher, Liv is passionate about equipping each audience member with steps that they can implement into their own lives to grow in confidence as a Christian today. Liv is the host of The Best Kept Secret with Liv Dooley, and when she's not podcasting or writing, she's somewhere curled up with a book or out on a hike with her husband and their dogs. Jenny Christiansen is a speaker, teacher, and mentor who places high value on equipping others to live out full, wonderfully complex, Gospel-centered stories! Through sharing scriptural principles and practical insights, she hopes to inspire people to:
–Experience God’s presence in their everyday life
–Trust God through life’s challenges
–Pray like warriors, fear less, and live more!
Jenny likes to call herself a “People Investor”. Thankfully, she has found herself doing precisely that. She has spent over 25 years as an educator, both as a classroom teacher and a school administrator. She treasures the opportunity to work with individuals, small groups, and large audiences to inspire them to live with joy!
But as much as she loves ministry, she enjoys a good cup of coffee, mountain lakes, friendships, exercise and reading books. Her favorite people are her husband, Craig, her daughters, son-in-laws and 8 charming grandchildren.

Because Jesus uses the fisherman, tax collector and water-gathering woman to share the best stories, He has called Sara Jessa to speak His truth from a layman’s life. In this season, Sara is learning to serve her husband of 20 years, nurture a pair of amazing teenagers, and passionately pursue Jesus into a “faith-rest” life. Her ministry, Experience Faith, allows her to seek and share thin spaces, inviting others to join her in creating space to encounter Jesus in nature, rest and retreats. Equilla Hicks loves the wonderful life God has blessed her with! She is a wife, mom and a Lola (Grandma) who founded Lift One Up – a non-profit organization meant to inspire, encourage, and motivate women to be all that God has destined them to be. Through Lift One Up, Equilla mentors women, hosts retreats, hosts and facilitates international mission trips, and collaborates with local organizations that serve women and youth. She has the privilege of being an Associate Pastor at ChurchLV where she has learned, flourished, and served for over 19 years.

Sarah Hechanova is a gifted leader and speaker, noted for her practical wisdom and strong faith. For the past 13 years she has enjoyed pastoring Neighborhood Church alongside her husband, Dodjiel, in the heart of downtown Henderson. Sarah loves to witness ladies’ lives changed for the glory of God. She embraces anytime she can speak His Word to ignite eternal transformation. When she is not serving the church community, you will find her soaking up every moment that she can with her family. Dodjiel and Sarah have four children – Lexi, Ethan, Noah, Gabe, and a granddaughter, Everly.
